Cancellations/Reschedules: You may cancel and/or reschedule on my online booking site Schedulicity accessed with the SCHEDULE NOW link above. Please respect my 24 hour cancellation policy. Normally, to avoid paying 50% for a missed appointment, at least 24 hours notice is needed. During the pandemic, however, just give me as much notice as is possible.
Illness: If you are feeling ill and/or with any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, unusual muscle aches, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell), please reschedule with as much notice as possible. If you are unsure about the symptoms, please call your primary care physician. I will be asking further screening questions when you arrive for your appointment.
Code of Ethics: I adhere to the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) Code of Ethics.
Covid-19 Safety Precautions & Modifications:
I've recently moved to a spacious, safer-for-Covid treatment space.
Intake conversations take place by phone from the client's car.
Screening questions are asked and temperatures taken at the entrance to the building.
Anyone feeling ill, with a temperature over 100F, has any of the Covid-19 symptoms, has traveled to a hot spot or was exposed to the virus in the last 14 days will be referred to their primary care provider for advice on testing, treatment and quarantine measures, if needed.
There is increased time between appointments to effectively purify air and ventilate with Hepa/UV Cleaner/Ionizer air purifier & fan. Between clients, all surfaces potentially touched from the front door to inside the office will be disinfected per "kill time" instructions with EPA List-N disinfectants approved for use against SARS-Cov-2 (Covid-19). Including the bathroom, which is disinfected before and after use.
I wear a surgical mask, face sheild, goggles, hair coverings and gloves. Masks, gloves, and hair coverings are new for each client and the goggles and face shield will have been disinfected.
All clients must wear a well-fitting, clean cloth mask or a snug new surgical mask for the entire time in the building. Cloth eye coverings are available during the massage, if desired.
Shoes are removed just outside the office, and disposable booties are available.
Clients place all clothing and possessions in a covered bin and are instructed not to shake out any clothing, sheets or the blanket.
Payments are contactless through my scheduling website, Schedulicity.
I feel responsible for my clients and will make safe choices in my personal life.
I will reschedule appointments if I feel ill, am exposed to the virus, or have the symptoms. If needed, I will get a test wait for the results, and if needed quarantine before returning to work.
All of the above precautions have the effect of making you and me feel safe which is conducive to deep relaxation. And, the massage itself is a welcome return to normal!
I look forward to seeing you!!
